DOplace them in a soft cloth or tissue in your jewelry box or drawer
DON'Texpose pearls to acid-based hair sprays, cosmetics or perfumes, or clean them with chemicals or abrasives
DO wipe them with a cotton cloth after each wear and on occasion wash them with warm water and mild soap when you take them off; this will remove traces of body oils, perfume and hair spray
